Mr Afghan or Afghan sahib as he is called is the General Secretary of PSF UOM. He hails from the town of Dir, capital of former Dir state and currently in Upper Dir or Dir Balla District of Malakand Division, Pakhtunkhwa Province. He represents the new generation of nationalists in Dir which was under strong influence of religious parties and extremist factions. He is a strong supporter of Awami National Party (ANP). He is a good poet too. He is responsible for running the affairs of the federation and tackling sensitive issues. He is an expert politician. He is the "think tank" of PSF UOM. He is always consulted by other members of the federation before taking any step for advice. He has a good sense of humour as well. He was also General Secretary of Dir Degree College. He has been rusticated and fined for students' rights.
